Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out on June 6
After a day's holiday for the market, the Indian equity markets will be open for trade on Thursday. The stocks to keep a watch on June 6 are Tata Motors, HEG, M&M, Indoco Remedies, Corporation Bank, Indian Bank and OBC.
Tata Motors: Jaguar Land Rover a subsidiary of Tata Motors joins forces with BMW Group to jointly invest in research and development for production of electric vehicles.
HEG Limited: The company has increased its stake from 29.48 per cent to 49 per cent in Bhilwara Energy Limited on account of completion of the last tranche of the acquisition process.
Mahindra and Mahindra: The company posted its sales report for the month of May 2019 making a sale of 42,930 units which is 1.82 per cent lower than the sales for May 2018. In May 2019, the production by the company decreased by 17.46 per cent as against that in May 2018.
Indoco Remedies: USFDA issued four observations for Indoco’s sterile manufacturing facility in Verna, Goa after its inspection. Indoco’s share closed at Rs. 173.50, 1.89 per cent lower than its previous close.
PSB merger: Government mulls merging three public sector banks, namely Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC), Indian Bank and Corporation Bank. These PSB stocks will be in focus on Thursday.
