Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out on December 28
Tech Mahindra, Cipla, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, UPL and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the top Nifty gainers on the Nifty. Losers were Hindalco Industries, Britannia Industries, IndusInd Bank, ONGC and Grasim Industries.
On Monday, the benchmark indices decided to start the last week of 2021 on a positive note and erase the previous session losses.
At close, the Sensex was up 334.86 points or 0.59 per cent at 57,459.17 level, and the Nifty was up 92.50 points or 0.54 per cent at 17,096.30 level. Among sectors except metal, all other sectoral indices ended higher with pharma index gaining 1 per cent. In the broader markets, the BSE midcap index and smallcap indices ended in the green.

IndusInd Bank - IndusInd Bank has joined hands with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) for offering real-time cross-border remittances to India using UPI IDs, for its Money Transfer Operator (MTO) partners. With this initiative, IndusInd Bank has become the first Indian bank to go live on UPI for Cross Border Payments/NRI Remittances. The stock has ended slightly lower at Rs 855.85 per share, which is 0.67 per cent down.
Lupin - Lupin share price rose 2 per cent on Monday after the company received USFDA approval for Sevelamer Carbonate for Oral Suspension. Lupin has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) Sevelamer Carbonate for Oral Suspension, 0.8 g and 2.4 g packets to market a generic equivalent of Renvela for Oral Suspension, 0.8 g and 2.4 g packets of Genzyme.
Healthcare stocks - BSE Healthcare index has outperformed the benchmark indices on Monday. BSE Healthcare index rose by 1.4 per cent. Bliss GVS Pharma, Gufic Biosciences, Morepen Laboratories, Narayana Hrudayalaya and Natco Pharma are the top 5 gaining stocks within the BSE Healthcare Index. 52-week high stocks - Within the BSE 200 index, the stocks of Proctor & Gamble Hygiene and Healthcare, Tech Mahindra and GMR Infrastructure have made fresh 52-week highs on Monday.
