Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out on April 23
The stocks that are likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on April 23 are RBL Bank, PVR, Piccadily Agro, Goa Carbon and ACC.
RBL Bank: The board of directors has approved raising of funds aggregating up to Rs. 3,500 crore, including through the issuance of equity shares/depository receipts and other.
PVR: The company has launched its first multiplex in Amritsar at Suraj Chanda Tara. Strengthening PVR's footprints across key markets, the new 6-screen property is a standalone complex in the region with a host of advanced hospitality facilities to offer a seamless experience to moviegoers.
Piccadily Agro: Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) has ordered the company for closing of its distillery unit for not complying to pollution norms.
Goa Carbon: The company has reported a net loss of Rs. 8.79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019, as against net profit of Rs. 11.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 20.92 per cent at Rs. 128.41 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs. 162.37 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.
ACC Ltd: The shares closed at Rs. 1,660 down by 2.21 per cent. However, the company could witness some momentum owing to the release of Q4 results on April 23.
