Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out for on October 4, 2018

The stocks most likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on October 4, 2018 are  HCL Technologies Ltd., Infosys, Amara Raja Batteries Ltd., Tata Power, Bank of Maharashtra, TVS Motor Company, L&T Ltd and Tech Mahindra. 

HCL Technologies Ltd.: The company has signed a 5-year managed services deal with TransGrid wherein it will provide outsourcing support for operations relating to service desk, data centre, security, disaster recovery, end-user computing and applications. It will also create a TransGrid Academy for cultural alignment and talent pool incubation. The stock will be monitored tomorrow. 

InfosysInfosys Finacle has introduced digital engagement suite for banks to help them serve customers with tailored experiences using APIs and impactful digital propositions. Additionally, the company has been awarded A3 rating with 'Stable' outlook by Moody’s Investor Service. The stock will be monitored tomorrow. 


Amara Raja Batteries Ltd.: The company has entered into a technology collaboration agreement with Johnson Controls Inc. to bring a new wave of battery technologies to India. Under the agreement, Amara Raja will licence Johnson Controls’ proprietary PowerFrame grid technology. The stock will be in focus tomorrow. 

Tata Power: Tata Power Solar has launched an extensive residential rooftop solution in Ajmer, Rajasthan. This will result in savings of nearly Rs. 50,000 annually for 25 years. The stock will be watched tomorrow. 

Bank of Maharashtra: The bank is all set to close 51 branches across the country as part of the cost-cutting measures being implemented in the banking industry. The stock is likely to be in the limelight in tomorrow’s trading session. 

TVS Motor Company: The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V produced over 1 lakh sales in a record span of six months since its launch. The stock will be monitored tomorrow. 

L&T: L&T Construction has bagged orders of Rs. 3,035 crore to build Terminal-2 at Bengaluru International Airport. The stock is likely to be in the limelight in tomorrow’s trading session. 

Tech Mahindra: The company has partnered with Israel-based ELTA systems to provide cyber solutions to the government and corporate customers within India and around the world. The stock will be in the limelight tomorrow.
