Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch for on December 09
On Wednesday, the equity markets witnessed strong positive momentum for the second consecutive day owing to positive global cues and the status quo maintained by the RBI policy committee.
The benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty zoomed around 1.7 per cent for the day. In the broader markets, the BSE midcap and smallcap indices were seen gaining 1.6- 1.8 per cent.
Strong buying was seen in rate-sensitive PSU banks, auto, banking and realty stocks, while metals too were in focus.

Mahindra & Mahindra - Reliance BP Mobility Limited (RBML), operating under the brand name Jio-bp and the Mahindra Group announced a non-binding MoU for exploring the creation of EV products and services, alongside identifying synergies in low-carbon and conventional fuels. The MoU also covers evaluating charging solutions by Jio-bp for Mahindra vehicles including electric 3 and 4 wheelers, quadricycles and e-SCV (Small Commercial Vehicles – sub 4 ton).
Upper Circuit Stocks - The stocks of Hinduja Global Solutions, Hindustan Construction, Trident and JP Associates have hit an upper circuit on Wednesday. Keep a watch on them on Thursday.
