Overnight Digest: Stocks to look out for on March 8
The stocks that are likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on March 8 are NHPC, Jindal Stainless, Tata Coffee, KNR Construction and Infosys.
NHPC: The company has received approval from Union Cabinet for acquiring Lanco’s 500 MW Teesta hydro-electric power project in Sikkim. The company has also been allowed to spend Rs 574.04 crore to complete balance work at the project. The project would generate 2,400 million units. Shares will be watched.
Jindal Stainless: The company has received approval from Odisha government for setting up a private industrial estate near Kalinga Nagar in Jajpur district. The industrial estate will be developed in two phases. Shares will be in focus.
Tata Coffee: The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Tata Coffee Vietnam Company has unveiled its state-of-the art freeze-dried coffee production plant Vietnam, at a grand ceremony held on March 06, 2019. Shares will be in limelight.
KNR Construction: The company has bagged an order for worth Rs 135.08 crore from Karnataka Road Development Corporation. Shares would be watched.
Infosys: The company has been selected by Rolls-Royce UK, as one of the strategic long-term partners to deliver digital and engineering services. The stock is likely to be in focus.
