On Wednesday, the domestic benchmark indices ended the day high. BSE Sensex Index is up 0.29 per cent at 61,940 and NSE Nifty-50 Index is up 0.27 per cent at 18,315. In the broader market, BSE Mid-Cap Index is up by 0.34 per cent and BSE Small-Cap Index is up by 0.33 per cent. On the sectoral front, BSE Realty Index is the top-gaining sector whereas BSE Metals Index is the top losing sector.

Varun Beverages Ltd: On Wednesday, shares of VBL surged over 7.64 per cent to trade at a new 52-week high of Rs 1,620 per share. The company has also announced a stock split for the current fiscal year. The rise in stock price is due to an investment in Huoban Energy 7 Private Limited for SPV in the current facility.

Bharti Airtel Ltd: The company announced that it has surpassed the 2 million unique 5G user mark on its network in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and hence the shares of the company rose 0.45 per cent to Rs 797.50 per share.
Lupin Ltd: The company has reported Rs 4,430 crore revenue in Q4FY24, up 15 per cent over Q4FY23. In Q4FY23, the company reported a net loss of Rs 512 crore while in Q4FY24 it skyrocketed to a net profit of 242 crore.
