Despite significant losses in a number of sectors, Indian benchmark indices ended the session higher. While BSE Healthcare was the top-gaining sector, BSE Power and BSE Utilities had the worst performances, tumbling more than 2 per cent each. The BSE Sensex gained 0.22 per cent to 57,653 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index surged 0.24 per cent to a level of 16,985.

Larsen & Toubro - The company announced that its power transmission and distribution business has received EPC orders in India and overseas. The order size ranges from Rs 2,500 crore to 5,000 crore, according to information provided by the company. Shares ended the session 0.44 per cent lower.
TVS Motor Company - The company has announced the launch of seven new products in Ghana, Africa. The company has introduced an array of exciting offerings, including the Bebek - TVS Neo NX, three variants of the TVS HLX series, the TVS Apache 180 and the three-wheelers TVS King series. The upswing in shares led them to end the session 0.49 per cent higher.
Bharti Airtel - The launch of a telecom company's cutting-edge 5G services in Port Blair was announced today, making it the first operator to deliver the power of 5G to the Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Customer access to Airtel 5G Plus services will be phased in as the company builds up its network and completes the roll out.
