Even though BSE Utilities, BSE Power and BSE IT tried to boost indices with their over 1 per cent gains, Indian headline indices reversed the session's initial gains and ended the session lower. It was primarily due to significant losses in the metal and telecommunications sectors. The BSE Sensex fell 0.28 per cent to 60,092 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index lost 0.34 per cent to a level of 17,894.

Tata Consultancy Services - The company announced that Scotwest Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in the UK, has enhanced its customer experience with TCS Customer Intelligence & Insights, an AI-driven analytics software. Shares of TCS ended the session more than 1 per cent higher, making them one of the Sensex's Top Gainers today.
Delhivery Ltd - The logistics solutions provider announced that it has completed the acquisition of Algorhythm Tech Pvt Ltd for Rs 8.1 crore and that it is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The stock ended the session 3.47 per cent higher.
Larsen & Toubro - One of India's largest mixed-use developers and operators has offered the Buildings & Factories (B&F) Fast Business of L&T Construction a significant repeat order for additional work. The order size ranges from Rs 1,000 crore to 2,500 crore, according to information provided by the company.
