The BSE Oil and Gas sector led the closing rally, gaining 1.60 per cent. Domestic indices trimmed some of the session's losses but significant declines in financial services, banking and technology stocks forced indices to close lower. The BSE Sensex fell 0.50 per cent to 60,353 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index lost 0.28 per cent to a level of 17,992.

Bajaj Finance - The non-banking financial company reported a robust performance in a number of areas, including new loans, deposit book, customer franchises and so on. Shares of the company plunged more than 7 per cent, making it the worst performer on the Sensex. Assets under management (AUM) fell short of market expectations, which was the main cause of this steep decline.
IndusInd Bank - Today, the bank announced a partnership with two renowned international airlines, British Airways and Qatar Airways, to develop a unique multi-branded credit card, powered by Visa. It will be offered to customers in the first quarter of the financial year 2023-2024. Shares of IndusInd Bank fared well today in comparison to other banking stocks.
Grasim Industries - In order to carry out business support services activities, the cement manufacturer has incorporated a fully owned subsidiary called ‘Grasim Business Services Pvt Ltd.’ Shares finished the turbulent session almost half a per cent higher.
