Indian domestic indices started the session higher but subsequently trimmed prior gains to end flat. Financial services, banking and auto sectors lagged the market, while IT, metals and real estate sectors outperformed. The BSE Sensex edged up by 0.07 per cent to 61,319 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index rose 0.11 per cent to a level of 18,035.

Tech Mahindra - Analysts and investors were bullish on the stock, as it emerged as the top Sensex gainer for the second consecutive session, with shares ending the session over 5 per cent higher, having soared about 12 per cent in just two trading sessions. Given its 52-week high of Rs 1,574.80 on the BSE, the stock has room to grow in the future.
Oil & Natural Gas Corporation - As the government reduced the windfall tax on domestically produced crude oil from Rs 5,050 to Rs 4,350 per ton, shares of oil companies surged. Shares of ONGC climbed more than 5 per cent with a surge in volume. The business also announced a robust December quarter performance.
Nestle India - Shares of Nestle India attracted investors after trading down in the opening trades of today's session and rebounding to become one of the Top Gainers on the BSE Sensex as the business announced strong quarter performance with net profit growth of more than 65 per cent year-on-year.
