Indian benchmark indices started the week with a downturn, reflecting the deterioration in Asian markets. The indices were dragged down by significant losses in real estate and information technology stocks, while BSE Capital Goods was the only sector posting gains, led by Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The BSE Sensex declined 0.41 per cent to 60,431 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index lost 0.48 per cent to a level of 17,770.

Titan Company Ltd - Shares of Titan ended the session 2.07 per cent higher, making them the top Sensex gainer today. Shares have surged more than 9 per cent since the performance for the last quarter was disclosed, marking a modest rally.
Info Edge (India) Ltd - As the company (Naukri) reported a disappointing quarter with a net loss of Rs 116 crore, shares tumbled over 9 per cent today. In the last six months, shares have experienced a sell-off, falling more than 20 per cent.
Bharat Heavy Electricals - Despite reporting net profit growth of more than 50 per cent, the shares of heavy electrical equipment company fell over 5 per cent today as the company fell short of expectations.
