The Indian headline indices ended the session marginally lower amid mixed global cues. While consumer durables and oil & gas sectors attempted to boost the indices, metal and healthcare stocks pulled them down. The BSE Sensex edged down by 0.03 per cent to 60,910 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index edged down by 0.05 per cent to a level of 18,122.

Adani Enterprises - The company announced that it has acquired a 100 per cent share in SIBIA Analytics and Consulting Services Private Limited for Rs 14.80 crore. The acquisition is strategic in nature and will assist Adani Group in improving its AI capabilities. Adani Enterprises' shares finished the session 0.72 per cent higher after trading flat throughout.
UCO Bank - At its meeting planned on January 3, 2023, the bank's board of directors will consider the proposal for raising Tier I capital in the form of Additional Tier I Bonds in one or more tranches totaling Rs 1,000 crore from the market. Over the period of the past month, shares of UCO Bank, one of the top multibaggers in the banking industry, soared more than 55 per cent.
Larsen & Toubro - The company announced that L&T Construction's power transmission and distribution division had secured numerous EPC orders, both domestically and abroad. The order size ranges from Rs 1,000 crore to 2,500 crore, according to information provided by the company. The volatile session ended with shares settling marginally down.
