Despite losses in the real estate and oil & gas sectors, Indian headline indices ended the session higher thanks to significant gains in telecommunication and information technology stocks. The BSE Sensex gained 0.65 per cent to 62,533 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index soared 0.60 per cent to a level of 18,608.

Tata Motors - At its meeting, the IPO Committee gave its in-principle approval to explore the prospect of the company, partially divesting its investment in Tata Technologies Limited, a subsidiary of the corporation, by way of an IPO route. Additionally, starting in January 2023, the business will raise the prices of all commercial vehicles by up to 2 per cent.
ACC Ltd - Following the deal with Ambuja and ACC, Adani Group is now the second-largest cement player in the country. Adani Cement introduces ‘Geoclean,’ with a renewed emphasis on providing sustainable and innovative waste management and substituting alternative fuels & raw materials for conventional fuels. The goal of Geoclean is to establish a green economy that encourages sustainable growth.
Tata Consultancy Services - The business collaborates with Gujarat government to provide teachers and students with training in cutting-edge digital skills including computational and design thinking. The stock ended the session 1.44 per cent higher.
