Dalmia Bharat - Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat, today, announced the signing of a binding framework agreement to acquire clinker, cement and power plants from Jaiprakash Associates and its associate for Rs 5,666 crore. The acquisition will allow the company to broaden its footprint and establish itself as a pan-India cement company. Shares experienced a spike in volume and surged 3.30 per cent.
Trent Ltd - The Company has issued and allocated commercial paper worth Rs 100 crore with the intention of listing on the National Stock Exchange of India. The proceeds will be used to meet the company's working capital requirements. Shares ended the session 0.39 per cent lower.
HCL Technologies - The business announced an expanded multi-year contract with Mondelez International, one of the biggest snack companies in the world, to improve cybersecurity and transform digital workplace services globally. Despite a downturn in the technology sector, shares ended the session 0.10 per cent higher.
