Overnight Digest: Stocks to be watched on February 11

ONGC, Tata Steel, Infosys, SBI Life Insurance and HDFC Bank were the top Nifty gainers, while losers were Maruti Suzuki, BPCL, Shree Cements, IOC and UltraTech Cement.

On Thursday, the domestic market displayed upward momentum on the back of strong global cues and positive RBI policy. 

All the sectoral indices ended in the green with IT, bank, power, metal up 1 per cent each. In the broader markets, BSE midcap and smallcap indices ended flat.

Keep a watch on these stocks for Friday's trading session:

Bharat Forge -The company has posted Q3 net profit at Rs 337.3 crore versus Rs 92.7 crore and revenue was up 54.7 per cent at Rs 1,602 crore versus Rs 1,035.7 crore on a YoY basis. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was up 89.8 per cent at Rs 407.7 crore versus Rs 215 crore and the margin was at 25.4 per cent versus 20.7 per cent on a YoY basis. The company's share was quoting at Rs 727.05, down 2.8 per cent on the BSE.

Adani Wilmar - The shares of this newly listed company locked at the upper circuit for the second straight day, up 20 per cent at Rs 386.25 per share on Thursday, thus also hitting a new high since its market debut on Tuesday. With the rally witnessed in the market price of Adani Wilmar, the company joins an elite group of companies having a market capitalization of Rs 50,000 crore. 

Adani Enterprises - The company announced that it has acquired a 10 per cent shareholding of Unyde Systems Private Limited on February 9, 2022. USPL is a start-up that is engaged inter alia in the business of software development and information technology-enabled services and related services and products. The share of Adani Enterprises has closed 0.24 per cent lower at Rs 1,779.25 in Thursday's trading session.

Upper Circuit stocks - From the BSE 500 index, Mahindra Lifespaces, Deepak Fertilisers, Saregama India, JSW Energy, Network18 locked in upper circuit on Thursday. Keep an eye on these stocks for Friday's trading session.
