Overnight Digest : Stocks to be watched on February 10

Coal India, Maruti Suzuki, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank and Bajaj Auto were the top Nifty gainers, while losers were ONGC, Sun Pharma, BPCL, ITC and SBI Life Insurance.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices ended in green for the second consecutive day on February 9 keeping eyes on MPC meeting outcome.

At close, the Sensex was up 657.39 points or 1.14 per cent at 58,465.97 level, and the Nifty was up 197 points or 1.14 per cent at 17,463.80 level.

The domestic market participated in the global rally with all major sectors apart from Oil & Gas and PSU Banks trading on a positive note. In the broader markets,  BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices gained 0.6-1.2 per cent.

Keep a watch on these stocks for Thursday's trading session-

Adani Wilmar -The shares of this recently listed company hit a new high of Rs 299.65 after they rose nearly 13 per cent on the BSE in Wednesday's trading session. With this, the stock of Adani Group has zoomed 30 per cent over its issue price of Rs 230 per share, and is above 36 per cent from its listing price of Rs 221 on the BSE. The stock closed 19.98 per cent higher on BSE at Rs 318.2 per share. Keep a close watch on this stock for further trading session.

Infosys - The company announced its collaboration with Qualtrics, the leader and creator of the Experience Management (XM) category. Infosys has established a Qualtrics center of excellence, to bring solutions on Qualtrics to the market. These solutions are a part of Infosys Cobalt cloud offerings and help clients improve their customer, employee, and supplier experiences. The company's share closed at Rs 1,737.50 per share, which is 1.22 per cent higher on BSE. 

Bharti Airtel - The stock gained up to 2 per cent in Wednesday's trading session and ended 1.52 per cent higher on BSE. On Tuesday, the company posted that the net profit of Rs 830 crore in the October-December quarter, was down 27 per cent from the previous quarter. The drop in profit was owing to a one-time gain recorded in the previous quarter on account of spectrum sale to Reliance Jio. During Q3FY22, the company's Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) increased to Rs 163 against Rs 146 in the corresponding quarter of previous year, a decline of 1.8 per cent.

Endurance Technologies - In Wednesday's trading session, the stock of Endurance Technologies contracted up to 8 per cent after the company's profit after tax (PAT) dropped to Rs 94.6 crore in Q3FY22 due to weak operational performance. The auto parts & equipment company had posted PAT of Rs 190 crore in the year-ago quarter Q3FY21. Consolidated revenue from operations was down 7 per cent at Rs 1,889 crore against Rs 2,041 crore in previous year quarter.
