Overnight Digest: Stocks likely to be in focus on November 16

The domestic benchmark indices ended higher in the highly volatile session on November 15 with Nifty closing above the 18400 level. Sensex was up 248.84 points or 0.40 per cent at the 61,872.99 level and the Nifty was up 74.20 points or 0.40 per cent at 18,403.40.
The top Nifty gainers included Power Grid Corporation, ONGC, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel and Dr Reddy's Laboratories. The biggest losers were Coal India, HDFC Life, Grasim Industries, Cipla and Bajaj Finserv.

NMDC - NMDC registered a 62 per cent year-on-year decline in profit at Rs 885.7 crore for the quarter that ended September FY23 due to lower top line as well as operating income. Revenue from operations for the quarter at Rs 3,328 crore contracted 51 per cent and EBITDA declined 73 per cent to Rs 851.2 crore compared to the year-ago period. The shares of NMDC fell more than 4.5 per cent on an intraday basis.
Apollo Tyres - The shares of Apollo Tyres hit a multi-year high of Rs 303.40 per share as it rallied 6 per cent in Tuesday's intraday trading session, in an otherwise subdued market. The company reported double-digit growth in revenue and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA). In Q2FY23, the company's consolidated net profit improved 11 per cent year-on-year (YoY) at Rs 194 crore due to higher sales.
