Overnight Digest: Keep these stocks on your radar for January 14
The domestic market traded volatile dodging between gains and losses in Thursday's trading session.
Metals stole the show in Thursday's trade with the metal index rising over 3.5 per cent followed by the pharma, industrials and power index.
Also, sugar stocks were in demand on the back of the Ethanol push and robust outlook in CY2022. On the other hand, profit booking was seen in select cement & IT stocks. In the broader markets, BSE midcap and smallcap indices ended in the green.

Tata Motors - In the first half of the trading session, Tata Motors share opened in red and fell 2 per cent intraday to Rs 495 on the BSE on Thursday after its wholly-owned subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported weak sales numbers for the quarter ended December 2021. In the second half of the trading session, the share closed 1.04 per cent on the higher side at Rs 511.95 on BSE. Keep an eye on this stock on Friday
Reliance Industries - The company has signed MoU with the Government of Gujarat for a total investment of Rs 5.955 lakh crore as part of the Investment Promotion Activity for Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2022. To make Gujarat net zero and carbon-free, Reliance Industries proposes to invest Rs 5 lakh crore in the state over 10 to 15 years to set up 100 GW Renewable Energy Power Plant and Green Hydrogen Eco-System development. The stock traded quite volatile on Thursday and closed 0.59 per cent up on BSE.
Jindal Steel & Power - The stock has gained 5.85 per cent in Thursday's trading session. The stock has been trading in a sideways trend for quite a few trading sessions. Among the technical indicators, RSI is on the verge of giving a positive breakout whereas MACD is also trading in a positive direction. Add this stock to your watchlist for upcoming trading sessions.
Upper Circuit Stocks - Amid the volatile trading session on Thursday, the stocks of Tanla Platforms and Trident in BSE 500 index have managed to lock in the upper circuit and are likely to be in focus on Friday.
