Oriental Rail order book crosses Rs 340 crore on securing 2 new orders worth Rs 15.46 crore
Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd (ORIL), a domestic manufacturer and supplier of several items for the Indian Railways, announced today that it has bagged two new orders worth Rs 15.46 crore for manufacturing as well as supplying seats & berths to Indian Railways.
The first order has been secured from Modern Coach Factory, which is based in Raebareli and amounts to Rs 9.85 crore. Besides, the second order has been secured from Rail Coach Factory, which is based in Hussainpur (Kapurthala) and amounts to Rs 5.61 crore.
Apart from this, Oriental Foundry Private Limited, a subsidiary of Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd, has secured an order from Northern Railways for manufacturing and supplying ‘bogie’. The value of this order amounts to Rs 14.4 crore.
With the above-mentioned order wins, the total order book of Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd has now crossed Rs 340 crore.
Reacting to this development, at 2.36 pm, the share price of ORIL was trading at Rs 52.75, which is an increase of 1.44 per cent over its previous day’s closing price of Rs 52 on BSE.
