NTPC up launching electric vehicle charging station in AP
NTPC has started its first electric vehicle charging station in Simhadri, Vishakhapatnam in the state of Andhra Pradesh (AP) in line with the government's plan to switch to clean mobility. The company focuses on promoting clean energy transportation in the country and increasing demand for electric vehicles and power generation.
The station can have three Electric Vehicles charged simultaneously at the facility and is fully-equipped with all amenities like parking bays, lighting, power supply and Wi-Fi access for automated monitoring and CCTV surveillance.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.71 per cent, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.86 and 3.43 per cent, respectively.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 173.30 and Rs. 165.00 per share, respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,39,472.03 crore.
Currently, the company is involved in the business activities of electric power generation by coal-based thermal power plants. Company's total operating revenue was Rs. 78,273.44 crore and equity Capital was Rs. 8,245.46 crore. On Tuesday, the stock opened at Rs.169.50 per share and touched a high/low of Rs. 170.90/168.40 per share, respectively and closed at Rs. 167.90 per share.
