NSE adds Oberoi Realty, 7 other stocks in F&O segment from October series

National Stock Exchange (NSE) announced the addition of eight stocks to the future & options segment from October series.

The futures and options contracts on eight additional securities are as follows- Abbott India Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, Dalmia Bharat Limited, Delta Corp Limited, The India Cements Limited, JK Cement Limited, Oberoi Realty Limited and Persistent Systems Limited.

Currently, there are 172 stocks that have their derivative contracts trading on NSE. The latest additions of 8 stocks will take the total list to 180 stocks from October Series.

The market lot, scheme of strikes and quantity freeze limit of the above-mentioned securities shall be informed to members on September 30, 2021 through a separate circular.

Interestingly, in August 2008 there were about 266 securities on which F&O contracts were available for trading and in September the number of rose to 267.
