NCC won orders of Rs. 4,088 crore in Feb
NCC Limited has bagged five new orders worth Rs. 4,088 crore in the month of February 2019.
Of these, orders worth Rs. 738 crore pertains to the Building division. While remaining orders worth Rs. 3,350 crore pertain to Water division. These orders are received from state government agencies and do not include any internal orders.
In the month of January 2019, the company had received orders worth Rs. 4,089.70 crore. Out of these orders, three orders worth Rs. 922.50 crore pertained to Roads division. Five orders worth Rs. 2,580.60 crore were from Building division, while the remaining Rs. 586.60 crore was from Waters division. These orders were received from Central/State government agencies.
During the nine months period ending December 31, 2018, the company had won orders worth Rs. 11,897 crore. The building division secured about Rs. 4,108 crore – 35 per cent of total orders, road division secured Rs. 4,718 crore – 40 per cent and water division secured Rs 1,042 – 9 per cent of the order book. The order book stood at Rs. 34,185 crore as on December 31, 2018.
The management expects the order inflows would grow by 10-15 per cent in FY20.
On Friday, the stock of NCC opened at Rs. 85.90 per share and surged by 4.8 per cent to make intra-day high of Rs. 89.65 in the morning trading session.
