NBCC India rises post receiving order worth Rs 596 crore
NBCC (India) Limited announced that it has been awarded work order for the comprehensive design, engineering & project management consultancy (PMC) services for the construction & development of infrastructural facilities in the main campus of National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand at Sumari.
NBCC is the project management consultant for this project, which is worth Rs 596.75 crore.
Reacting to this, the company’s stock on Wednesday increased by 2.83 per cent and made an intraday high of Rs 50.80 per share. The stock of NBCC has increased by 200 per cent from its decline in May 2020.
NBCC (India) is a Government of India Navratna enterprise under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs. The company operates through three segments viz., project management consultancy (PMC), real estate development and engineering, procurement & construction (EPC). The company has been executing many landmark projects as a PMC, which contributes to about 90 per cent of its annual revenue.
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 51.56 and a price-to-book ratio of 5.68. The stock has a 52-week high and a 52-week low of Rs 54 and Rs 16.80, respectively.
On Thursday, the company’s stock opened at Rs 50.35, up by 0.40 per cent on BSE.
