Mid-day movers: These stocks are witnessing an upward trend today!

Two stocks that gained more than 8 per cent on Wednesday afternoon.

The Indian stock market started with gains and has managed to sustain them. Crude oil prices tumbled almost 9 per cent on Tuesday, 5 July 2022. At 12:40 pm, the S&P BSE is at 53,549.32, a gain of 0.78 per cent. 

KPI Green Energy Ltd and Transcorp International Ltd are surging today! 

KPI Green Energy is engaged in the business of generating solar power. The company has received the biggest order for executing solar power project of 23.60 MWdc capacity from Nouveau Jewellery LLP and 3 MWdc capacity from Nouveau Diamonds Manufacturing India LLP aggregating 26.60 MWdc capacity under 'Captive Power Producer (CPP)' segment of the company. The shares are up by 8.69 per cent and the scrip is trading at Rs 733.95 .

Transcorp International Ltd operates in money changing, outward remittances and prepaid instruments by way of prepaid cards and wallets. Tide, UK’s leading SME-focused business financial platform has partnered with Transcorp International to launch co-branded prepaid cards (Tide Expense Card) as an entry product. This roll-out stems from Tide’s expansion strategy in India, its first international market outside the UK, and a pillar of its global ambitions. The shares jumped by 9.84 per cent and the scrip is trading at Rs 24.55.
