Shares of Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Gulshan Polyols Ltd have rallied in today’s trading session.
While markets opened below their previous close, as of noon, BSE Sensex was down by 0.41 per cent.
Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd gained more than 7 per cent
Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd is engaged in the manufacturing of stainless-steel pipes and tubes and carbon steel pipes from its manufacturing facilities in India. The share has rallied more than 7 per cent in the first half of today's trading session as the company informed that the company has received a new Domestic Line Pipe Order for Rs 591 crore from the Oil & Gas Sector, to be executed between August 2022 to March 2023.
Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd jumps more than 6 per cent
The company is in the business of refining crude oil to produce & supply various petroleum products and manufacture and sale of lubricating oil additives. The company’s stock soared 6.59 per cent in early trade on Tuesday after the recent rise in petrol and diesel prices. petrol costs Rs 102.16 per litre whereas diesel costs Rs 92.19 per litre in Chennai. Petrol and diesel prices were also raised in cities like Bhopal, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bhopal, Gurgaon and Noida.
Gulshan Polyols Ltd ascends more than 4 per cent
Gulshan Polyols Ltd is one of the largest manufacturers of Precipitated Calcium Carbonate and Sorbitol in India. It is a market leader with a substantial market share in the respective segments. The share has rallied more than 4 per cent in the first half of today's trading session as a company. The board of directors of the company at its meeting held on March 21, 2022, passed various resolutions.
