Mid-day movers: InterGlobe Aviation, Ramky Infrastructure and Zydus Lifesciences are BSE top gainers!

Shares of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd, Ramky Infrastructure and Zydus Lifesciences Ltd have rallied in today’s trading session.

While markets opened marginally high, as of noon, BSE Sensex is up by 1.23 per cent.  

InterGlobe Aviation Ltd ascends more than 7 per cent 

Interglobe Aviation Ltd (Indigo) is a passenger airline operating as a low-cost carrier. The share has rallied more than 7 per cent in the first half of today's trading session after the government announced that India will resume international flights to and from India starting March 27, 2022. Scheduled international flight services are suspended in India since March 23, 2020, due to the pandemic. 

Ramky Infrastructure jumps more than 5 per cent 

Ramky Infrastructure is engaged in the business of integrated construction, infrastructure development and management company headquartered in Hyderabad. In recent filings, the company has announced that "Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), Hyderabad" has executed a concessionaire agreement with Hyderabad Stps' Limited a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ramky_lIlirastructure Limited for the execution of "Construction of 6 STPs of 480.50 MLD Capacity (Decentralized).

After the news, the share price is increased by 5.19 per cent in the first half of today's trading session. 

Zydus Lifesciences Ltd gained more than 4 per cent 

Zydus Lifesciences Ltd operates in areas of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) to formulations, and animal health products to cosmeceuticals. The share has rallied more than 4 per cent in the first half of today's trading session. Recently, the company has received approval for its new drug application (NDA) from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for OxemiaTM (Desidustat), a first-of-its-kind oral treatment in the country for anaemia associated with chronic kidney diseases (CKD) and since then the share price has increased by 7.58 per cent.
