Supported by a decline in the US dollar and an increase in refinery runs in China, oil prices climbed by approximately 3 per cent. Brent crude futures surged by $2.47, indicating a 3.4 per cent rise, and settled at $75.67 per barrel. In futures trading, the Dollar index experienced a 0.78 per cent decline, reaching 102.14. Concurrently, the value of one dollar remained close to Rs 82.24.

Stocks that are banned for trading in the F&O segment on June 16 are BHEL, Delta Corp, Indiabulls Housing Finance, IEX, India Cements, L&T Finance Holdings, Manappuram, Tata Chemicals and Zee Entertainment.
