However, the Broader market, Nifty Midcap closed higher by 0.66 per cent at 60,034.05, while Nifty Smallcap surged by 0.78 per cent and closed at 19,505.95.
Market volatility, as indicated by India VIX, has declined by 3.19 per cent and is trading at the level of 12.76 reflecting a decline in market volatility.
Within the sectoral landscape, Nifty Realty, Nifty Media, and Nifty PSU Bank emerged as Top Gainers, while Nifty FMCG and Nifty Energy are the sectors which underperformed.

In early Thursday trading, U.S. Treasury yields fell, with the 10-year yield declining by 87 basis points to 3.64 per cent, while the 2-year yield declined by 131 basis points to 3.59 per cent.
