Market Update: Nifty 50 trading above 17700; these companies are scaling 52-week high
The market is currently trading in favour of advances and the advance to decline ratio stands as 177:118.
For the third day in a row, Nifty 50 opened in green. It opened at 17681.4 against the previous close of 17625.7. At the moment, it is trading at 17732.34. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 15 are trading below their previous close and 35 are trading above their yesterday close. In today’s trade, more stocks are trading in favour of advances, and overall as well, we can see that more stocks are trading in green.
In today’s trade, the best performing index is NIFTY PSU BANK, it is up by 1.33 per cent. This is followed by NIFTY OIL & GAS, which has risen by 1.04 per cent. The worst performing index currently is NIFTY HEALTHCARE INDEX. It is down by -0.59 per cent. Out of the total 20 companies forming part of the index, 15 companies are trading in red and 5 are trading in green.
