Apar Industries, AstraZeneca Pharma India and Bliss GVS Pharma are among the top gainers in the A Group.

In the absence of any negative triggers, markets traded in positive territory with the IT sector gaining 2.5 per cent after being battered early this week. 

At the closing bell on May 27, the Sensex ended with a gain of 1.2 per cent or 632.13 points at 54,884.66, while the Nifty50 also gained 1.1 per cent or 182 points at 16,352.45 

 Apar Industries, AstraZeneca Pharma India and Bliss GVS Pharma witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

Apar Industries witnessed a gain of 17.04 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 711.05 The stock logged its intraday high and low in today’s session at Rs 724.40 and Rs 600.60, respectively. The company operates in the diverse fields of electrical, metallurgical and chemical engineering. It posted Q4 results in the afternoon session wherein PAT jumped by 73.44 per cent YoY and came in at Rs 82.61 crore while net sales grew by 58.55 per cent at Rs 3003.9 crore. 

AstraZeneca Pharma India witnessed a rally of 10.45 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 2926.25 on the back of its Q4 results. Net revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, stood at Rs 231.96 crore which was up by 10.32 per cent on YoY basis. Net Profit in Q4 grew marginally by 2.6 per cent at Rs 27.98 crore on YoY basis. The shares of AstraZeneca hit intraday high and low at Rs 3020.35 and Rs 2617, respectively. 

Bliss GVS Pharma India witnessed a rally of 8.10 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 84. The shares of Bliss GVS hit intraday high and low at Rs 87.10 and Rs 75.2, respectively. It is among the world leaders in Suppositories and Pessaries dosage forms with one of the largest portfolios in this segment. The company has reported strong Q4 numbers wherein the consolidated net profit jumped by 187.86 per cent at Rs 23.47 while net sales grew by 26.51 per cent at Rs 167.06 YoY.
