Market Movers: OnMobile Global, Yes Bank and South Indian Bank were top gainers in A Group
Among sectoral indices, PSUs, Telecom, and Utilities closed with a gain of more than 1.5 per cent, Banking, Finance and IT saw weakness.
Taking a cue from weak global sentiments Indian market traded amid mixed sentiment with the benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 closing down by 1 per cent or 566 points at 59579.48 and Nifty50 at 17807.65 down 0.8 per cent or 150 points, respectively. The Midcap segment closed on a positive note gaining 0.4 per cent at 25175.79 while Smallcap index closed at a gain of 0.38 per cent at 29695.94.

OnMobile Global zoomed 20 per cent in today’s session to emerge as the biggest gainer in the A Group. Today, the stock touched its upper circuit of 430.90 early on at 9:40 am and was locked there for the rest of the trading session. OnMobile is the global leader in Ringback Tones.
Yes Bank rallied 12.83 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 14.69. The stock logged it's intraday high and low in today’s session at Rs 15.20 and Rs 12.93, respectively. The retail lender released its Q4 numbers which showed a growth of 8.8 per cent in net advances on a YoY basis at Rs 181508 crore. On a sequential basis, net advances grew by 3 per cent. Deposits, on the other hand, grew by 21.1 per cent and 7.1 per cent on YoY and QoQ basis respectively at Rs 197281 crore. The Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) stood at 114.6 per cent while the CASA ratio stood at 31.8 per cent for the bank.
South Indian Bank gained 11.08 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 8.92. The stock logged its intraday high and low in today’s session at Rs 9.10 and Rs 8.05, respectively. The bank released its Q4 numbers which showed a growth of 4% in Gross advances on YoY basis at Rs 61815 crore. Deposits on the other hand grew by 8 per cent on YoY at Rs 89142 crore. CASA ratio for the bank stood at 33.21 per cent for the bank.
