Market Movers: Bharat Dynamics, Ruchi Soya and CEAT were the top gainers in Group A

Among sectoral indices, most BSE sectoral indices witnessed a positive rally with metal, power, and oil& gas back in action.

Benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex closed up by 0.7 per cent or 412 points at 59447.18 and Nifty50 up by 0.8 per cent or 145 points at 17784.35, respectively. The Midcap segment closed up by 0.9 per cent at 25303.39 while Smallcap index closed at a gain of 0.99 per cent at 29765.79.

Bharat Dynamics, Ruchi Soya and Ceat witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

Bharat dynamics share price zoomed more than 15 per cent in intra-day trading. Today, the stock price closed at Rs 717.85. Since it has exchanged MoU with a UAE firm to explore new business opportunities the stock price has surged.   

Ruchi Soya rallied 14.71% in today’s session and closed at Rs 938.00. The stock logged its intra-day high and low in today’s session at Rs 938.70 and Rs 825.75, respectively. Ruchi Soya’s new equity shares, issued at the time of follow-on public offering (FPO) got listed today.   

CEAT gained 12.74 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 1123. The stock logged it's intraday high and low in today’s session at Rs 1149 and Rs 997.85, respectively. This week the stock has crossed its 52-week low.
