Market Movers: As most sectors trade in green, these shares emerge as the biggest gainers

PNB Housing Finance, Time Technoplast and Suzlon Energy are among top gainers in “A” Group.

As the market closed on a positive note, Telecom and Energy sector emerge as the biggest gainers while Metal is beaten down. 

At the closing bell on June 9, the Sensex closed with a gain of 0.8 per cent or 427.79 points at 55,320.28, while the Nifty50 also gained 0.7 per cent or 121.85 points at 16,478.10 

 PNB Housing Finance, Time Technoplast and Suzlon Energy witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

PNB Housing Finance witnessed a gain of 14.73 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 396.35 on the back of its stellar Q4 results. The board Meeting of the company is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, to consider and approve the issuance of Non - Convertible Debentures aggregating up to Rs 2,000 crore on a Private Placement Basis. The shares of PNB Housing Finance hit intraday high and low at Rs 409.95 and Rs 18900, respectively. 

Time Technoplast climbed 9.10 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 115.70. The shares of Time Technoplast logged a fresh 52-week high at Rs 116.80 overwriting the highs on June 7 at Rs 112. The company reported Q4 numbers on Monday, wherein the consolidated Net profit increased by 9.75 per cent to Rs 56.83 while net sales grew by 9.23 per cent at Rs 1038.96 YoY. 

Suzlon Energy soared 9.72 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 8.92. The stock has been under selling pressure with a YTD share price loss of 17.3 per cent, while in a week it stands corrected by 13.6 per cent. At corrected valuations, the shares witnessed fresh buying. Shares of Suzlon Energy hit intraday high and low at Rs 8.94 and Rs 8.10, respectively.
