Majesco gains on partnering with Capgemini
Capgemini has signed an alliance partnership agreement with Majesco following which the stock was buzzing on Tuesday.
According to the agreement, Capgemini will bring insurance innovation, customer service and digital capabilities to implementations of the Majesco Life & Annuity (L&A) and Group Core Suite for insurance in the life, annuity, worksite, and voluntary benefits market, to help them achieve speed to value.
The implementation of Majesco L&A and Group Core Suite is already underway at Capgemini, which includes policy, billing, and claims modules. The partnership of Capgemini with Majesco is focused on providing business and systems transformation capabilities along with implementation, integration, conversion, and testing services to multiple insurers.
Majesco enables insurance business transformation for approximately 150 insurance customers by providing solutions which include software, consulting and services.
On Tuesday, the shares of Majesco opened at Rs. 530 against Monday’s close of Rs. 528.75. At closing hours, the stock was trading at Rs. 542.95 up by 2.69 per cent. It reached an intraday high of Rs. 545 and an intraday low of Rs. 527.75 per share on the BSE. The 52-week high stood at Rs. 572 and 52-week low was at Rs. 401 per share on the BSE.
