Majesco becomes top performing IT stock of 2021
After a sharp correction of 1,000 odd points, the bulls are once again borrowing optimism from the Chinese economy. The depreciating rupee has proven to be a boon for the Indian exporters, including the IT sector. IT stocks did well in 2020 and are seen carrying the momentum this year. So far in 2021, we saw as many as seven IT stocks gain more than 50 per cent while we listed 30 IT companies that have gained by more than 20 per cent in 2021. With at least 46 from the IT sector gaining more than 10 per cent while Sensex was up by 1.7 per cent, we can say that the IT sector is outperforming Sensex in 2021, so far. TCS is up by 10 per cent since the beginning of the year.
