Mahindra joins hands with Greaves Cotton for BS-VI powertrain solutions

Mahindra & Mahindra today announced its partnership with Greaves Cotton to source BS-VI emission norms compliant powertrain solutions.

Under this agreement, Greaves Cotton will provide affordable last mile mobility solutions through BS-VI powertrain solutions to Mahindra & Mahindra. These powertrains will be used in Mahindra three-wheelers, which in turn will serve millions of customers.

Greaves Cotton Limited is a diversified engineering company and a leading manufacturer of cleantech powertrain solutions (CNG, petrol and diesel engines), generator sets, farm equipment, e-mobility, aftermarket spares and services. During H1FY19, the company’s revenue mix comprises of engines (50 per cent), others (26 per cent) and aftermarket (24 per cent).

On Monday, the stock of Greaves Cotton opened at Rs. 117.45 and made an intra-day high and low of Rs. 117.70 and Rs. 115, respectively, and closed at Rs 116.50 on the BSE.. The company had hit its 52-week high of Rs. 165 on September 4, 2018, and its 52-week low of Rs. 111.10 on October 24, 2019, on the BSE.
