L&T wins orders worth Rs. 2,440 crore
Larsen and Toubro (L&T) on Thursday announced that its subsidiary L&T Construction has bagged orders worth Rs. 2,440 crore in the domestic market.
L&T in a BSE filing said that its power transmission and distribution business has bagged EPC orders under Saubhagya scheme for electrification works in urban and rural areas.
The company also secured an order for the construction of underground power cable network on turnkey basis in the eastern region of India from the Department of Disaster Management.
The company further added that it has received an order for construction of 400kV double circuit transmission lines on a turnkey basis in the southern region of India. The company will also be building grid-connected rooftop solar plants in government buildings under the ‘Alo Shree’ scheme.
At 12:50 hours, L&T was trading at Rs. 1,367.50 per share, up Rs. 5.15 or 0.38 per cent on NSE. The scrip has a 52-week high of Rs. 1,470 and a 52-week low of Rs. 1,107.59 per share on NSE. The stock attracted a trading volume of 9,13,193 shares on NSE.
