L&T Infotech partnership with IBM expands global alliance with open hybrid clouds
L&T Infotech (LTI) announced on Thursday after the market hours that it is charting to expand its multi-year global alliance with IBM in order to help businesses transform their operations via open hybrid cloud adoption.
As per the proposal, LTI will help its clients’ migration and modernisation of core business applications by leveraging IBM’s open hybrid cloud platform built on Red Hat OpenShift. Using the hybrid cloud capabilities of IBM, LTI has developed industry-ready solutions for Data & Cloud Pak for Automation and along with the offerings that integrate IBM Watson solutions helping clients automate, secure, and update their business processes & applications. Included in the same are iDigitalisation, for automation of workflow and digitisation of enterprise business processes, iMaximise, helping in modernisation of enterprise integration landscape with pre-built accelerators, and make-the-shift in order to help overhaul legacy workloads.
LTI and IBM plan to fix a centre at Bengaluru (India) in 2021 for offering a comprehensive suite of IBM’s cloud, automation, integration, data & artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and foster innovation. IBM will also train LTI employees for facilitating creation workshops along with IBM solution development for LTI clients. LTI qualifies to be a platinum business partner for IBM Hybrid Cloud Ecosystem.
