L&T expands order book with Rs. 1,060 crore order
The construction business segment of Larsen & Toubro has secured an order totaling up to Rs. 1,060 crore.
The Smart World and Communication business has bagged an order from the Andhra Pradesh State FiberNet Limited (APSFL) for Bharatnet Phase-II works. The company will provide its services to establish an IPMPLS infrastructure covering the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. The scope of the said order would involve the creation of digital infrastructure which would include implementation, end-to-end integration and commissioning of IP//MPLS Network, Network Operating Centre (NOC), Disaster Recovery, Cloud-based Data Centre etc.
The company has secured another order from Pimpri-Chinchwad Smart City Limited for the creation of a City Network Backbone and implementation of smart elements such as Wi-Fi, Smart Kiosks and Variable message displays across the city.
The stocks of Larsen & Toubro opened at Rs. 1,426.50 against Wednesday’s close of Rs. 1,426.40 per share on the BSE. However despite winning the order, the stocks at 14:08 hours was trading at Rs 1402, down by 1.71 per cent and reached an intraday high of Rs 1428.20 and an intraday low of Rs 1405.50. The 52-week high was Rs 1469.60 and 52 week low was Rs 1183.40 per share on the BSE. Meanwhile, BSE Sensex closed at 35,681.50 level, down by 0.59 per cent.
