L&T Construction wins EPC orders worth Rs. 3,000 crore
Larsen & Toubro Limited announced that its construction arm has won another set of orders worth Rs. 3,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh, on Friday. It is a prestigious EPC order received from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA).
The said order would include engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of Head of Department (HoD) office buildings at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.
This project will the first Steel Diagrid project in India and also the first project in combination with Automatic Climbing Formwork System (ACFS) and Diagrid. It will be the tallest government office building in India. The project will be a fast track job with stringent timeline for completion.
While another order has been received from a client in Muscat, Oman for the construction of a tourism-related facility. The order includes structure, architectural finishes, MEP services and extensive landscaping & external development.
On Thursday, company had announced that its construction arm had won two orders worth Rs. 2,388 crores for water and effluent treatment business from Madhya Pradesh Corporation and Tirunelveli Municipal Corporation.
Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over US$ 18 billion in revenue.
On Thursday, the stock had closed at Rs. 1,299.75. On Friday it opened at Rs. 1,305.50 and surged by 1.5 percent and made intraday high of Rs. 1,319 in the morning trading session.
