L&T Construction secures significant contracts across businesses
Larsen & Toubro’s construction arm announced on BSE that it has secured orders from prestigious clients for its various businesses.
The estimated value of the contract falls under the significant category ranging between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore. This is the second significant order that the company has received this month.
The company’s buildings and factories business has secured design and build lump sum turnkey order to construct a Grade - A office space in two locations in Bengaluru. The scope of works includes civil works, MEP, façade works, common area finishes and external development works.
Additionally, L&T Construction’s water and effluent treatment business secured an order from Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board to provide surface-based bulk drinking water supply on a design, build, operate and transfer basis in Jalandhar.
The geostructure arm of L&T bagged projects to construct down and up lines of a bypass grade separator in Katni district (Madhya Pradesh). The scope involves constructing about 2,800 piles, pile caps, piers, pier caps, superstructure, embankment with retaining walls, etc. with a project duration of 36 months.
The share opened at Rs 924 and at 12:48 pm was trading 0.78 per cent down at Rs 910.45 on BSE. In comparison, S&P BSE SENSEX was trading up by 0.75 per cent.
