Low PE High ROE stock: This BSE 500 civil construction company emerged as an L-1 bidder for order worth Rs 1248.37 crore!

Shares of the company gained more than 2 per cent in today’s trade.

On March 9, 2023, G R Infraprojects Limited informed in the exchange filing that the company has emerged as an L‐1 bidder in the financial bid opening dated March 9, 2023, for the tender invited by the National Highways Authority of India for construction of the 6‐lane greenfield Varanasi‐Ranchi‐Kolkata highway from Anarbansalea village to Sagrampur village Bharatmala Pariyojana in the state of Bihar on hybrid annuity mode. The project is worth Rs 1248.37 crore with a completion period of 730 days and an operational period of 15 years.

G R Infraprojects Ltd is an integrated road Engineering, Procurement, and Construction company (EPC) with experience in the design and construction of various road & highway projects across 15 States in India.

Today, the stock opened at Rs 1028.95, with a high and low of Rs 1083.95 and Rs 1008. The stock closed at Rs 1051, up by 2.14 per cent over its previous close of Rs 1029.   

In the last 6 months, the shares of the company have given about -20 per cent returns. However, on a YTD basis, the stock declined about 7 per cent. 

The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 1624 and a 52-week low of Rs 992.80. The company has a ROCE of 16.3 per cent and an ROE of 18.9 per cent, with a market capitalisation of Rs 10,162 crore.
