Lloyd welcomes summer by launching fastest cooling AC

Lloyd which is India’s leading consumer durable brand has launched the fastest cooling Air Conditioners named ‘Grande Series’. This AC can cool down the temperature to 18 degrees Celsius in just 45 seconds.

This AC series is equipped with the latest technology and improves air quality with a PM 2.5 filter providing healthier air for breathing. Some of its advanced features include 2nd generation plug and play Wi-Fi, 100 per cent copper, fish-fin design for quieter operation and eco-friendly refrigerant gas. The series would be available in two models and four variants, complying with the government's mandated ISEER ratings.

Three variants of Lloyd Grande Series include – Inverter 5 Star, 3 Star and Fixed Speed 3 Star and the price range is between Rs. 45,990 to Rs. 79,990 with a 10-year warranty on inverter compressor.

As per the CMD of the company, the management intends to double its revenue in Gujarat over the next 2-3 years. Lloyd is a well-accepted brand in Gujarat and the company has strategies to invest significantly for setting up manufacturing facilities for Lloyd ACs. Also, with the setting up of its AC manufacturing plant at Ghiloth, Rajasthan, the company would supply world class ACs that are Made in India from April onwards.

Havells India, which owns Lloyd's brand, reported robust numbers for the quarter ending December 2018 with double-digit growth across all its business segments.

On Wednesday, the stock of Havells India opened at Rs. 738.45 per share and made intra-day high of Rs. 744.90. Over the last 3-4 months, the stock surged by 31 per cent.
