Linde India jumps over 6 per cent after reporting positive Q1
Linde India soared over 6.5 per cent in the morning trade on Tuesday as the company reported a profit in the first quarter of FY19.
The company reported a profit of Rs. 5.24 crore in the quarter ended June 2018 as against a loss of Rs. 2.18 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue of the company rose by 11.5 per cent to Rs. 549.6 crore as compared to Rs. 492.7 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, whereas EBITDA of the company grew 7.7 per cent YoY to Rs. 85.4 crore.
The company’s revenue from gases and related products segment declined by 1.4 per cent whereas revenue from the project engineering segment grew by 29.2 per cent YoY.
At 10:02 hours on Tuesday, Linde India was trading at Rs. 455 per share, up Rs. 13.20 or 2.99 per cent on NSE. The stock opened at Rs. 454.50 from a previous close of Rs. 441.80 and touched an intraday high of Rs. 471.15 per share on NSE. The stock attracted a traded volume of 10,836 shares on NSE.
