Libas launches an e-commerce website
The company had recently announced the launch of its e-commerce website i.e. www.libasfashion.com and intends to sell its products through this site. In addition to this, it has also listed its products on India's most selling e-commerce sites such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Snapdeal, and Big Basket.
The management expects to clock in revenue of Rs 70 crore from this vertical in the next one year. Apart from clothing, the company also has a presence in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) segment. The company is into rock salt manufacturing and sales. It sells its products under the brand name- Gangji. It manufactures and sells almost 3,000 million tonnes a month while processing & packaging is done at its manufacturing unit at Bharuch. The company’s existing clients for its rock salt business include Tata Salt, Keya, Sri Sri Tattva, Sankh’s, and Terra Greens.
The company has a pan India reach with processing units and warehouses at Bharuch & Mundra (both in Gujarat), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) and Hyderabad (Telangana). The company is currently offering a new distributorship pan India for its products.
In the fashion segment, the company is in the process of expanding to several Tier-II and Tier-III cities in India in various phases in the next three years. The company has also tied up with the top 15,000 organic farmers to produce and package flourishing organic products for export as well as the local market. Going forward, with the company’s retail expertise, it will also be adding various branded products.
