Larsen & Toubro Heavy Engg receives orders worth Rs. 1,600 crore
Larsen & Toubro Heavy Engineering have won prestigious orders of Rs. 1,600 crore which will be executed at L&T's fully integrated, advanced coastal manufacturing facility in Hazira, Gujarat. The stock has gained 2 per cent in the first half of trading session on Friday.
The company will cater to the needs of Refining, Petrochemical and Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) industries by supplying them with critical reactors and heavy equipment materials. About Rs. 1,470 crore of the total order value is from International clients based in the US, Europe, Middle East, Russian Commonwealth and China.

On Friday, the share's intraday high was Rs. 1,289 per share and intraday low was Rs. 1,255 per share on the BSE. Its 52-week high was Rs. 1,469 and 52-week low was Rs. 1,114.55 per share on the BSE.
At 2:13 hours, L&T was quoting Rs. 1,266.25 per share, up by 0.85 per cent on the BSE, while the BSE Sensex was trading at 36,442.80 level, up by 0.24 per cent and Nifty50 was quoting 10,993.65, up by 0.33 per cent.
