Kriti Industries posts six-fold jump in profit
Kriti Industries reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.
The company’s standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 95.63 crore, registering an increase of 7.3 per cent YoY.
Its EBITDA for the quarter rose by 44.5 per cent YoY to Rs 7.69 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 207 bps. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 8 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter jumped to Rs 3.28 crore as against Rs 0.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Looking at the full year numbers, we see that the revenue jumped by 9.3 per cent to reach Rs.444 crore, while the EBITDA rose by 2 per cent to 29.25 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 9.22 crore, up by 6 per cent YoY.
The board of directors has recommended a dividend of Re.0.15 per share on the face value of Rs 1 each.
On Wednesday, the stock opened at Rs. 51.50 and touched an intra-day high and low of Rs 52.45 and Rs 50.60, respectively. The stock finally closed at Rs. 51.55 on the BSE.
