KNR Constructions shines after NHAI appoints date for its subsidiary
KNR Constructions Limited, an infrastructure project development company announced on Tuesday that the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, KNR Palani Infra Private Limited received the appointed date i.e. October 5, 2020, by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The project involves four laning of the Oddanchatram-Madathukulam section of NH-209 in the state of Tamil Nadu. The bid project cost is Rs 9,200 million with a concession period of 17 years including a construction period of 2 years from the appointed date.
The company provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services across various fast-growing sectors namely roads & highways, irrigation, and urban water infrastructure management. Its core strength primarily is in road transportation engineering projects namely construction and maintenance of roads, highways, flyovers, and bridges wherever integral to the projects undertaken.
At 2.33 pm today, the share of the company was trading at Rs 1.64 per cent higher at Rs 257.6 on BSE. The share reached its intraday high of Rs 265 after the press filing. In comparison, S&P BSE SENSEX was trading 1.35 per cent higher.
