KNR Constructions Ltd receives order worth Rs 1,157 crore
KNR Constructions Limited has won an order worth Rs 1,157 crore (including GST) by Highways Department of Government of Tamil Nadu.
The order has been awarded for the construction of elevated highways along Avinashi Road in Coimbatore City from Goldwins to Uppilipalayam 147 km/100-157/200 of (SHU- 52). The project aims to be completed within a period of 48 months from the appointed date.
KNR Constructions Limited provides engineering, procurement, and construction services across various fast-growing sectors, namely, roads & highways, irrigation & urban water infrastructure management. The company has a strong EPC order book worth Rs 7,208 crore evenly distributed between roads (Rs 3,339 crore) and irrigation sector (Rs 3,869 crore).
The stock of KNR Constructions Limited closed at 263.90, down by 0.92 per cent or Rs 2.45 per share. The intraday high is Rs 272.10 and the intraday low is Rs 260.40. The 52-week high is 311.05 while 52-week low is 171.65. Since the beginning of the year, the stock has given a return of 4.10 per cent thereby, outperforming S&P BSE 500 index which gave a return of -3.20 per cent.
